“Employers added 11,500 jobs during the month, pushing the state’s workforce to more than 2.9 million for the first time, according to data released Thursday by the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development,” according to Finance & Commerce.

According to the article, the construction industry added 600 jobs and the average workweek in construction exceeded 40 hours.
